Free $5, Just For Reading This Blog!

If you're still reading this blog after more than a week, then let's face it--you've put up with a lot and gotten very little in return. But if you have a smartphone, that's about to change. A few weeks ago, I stumbled across a new app called Clover, which lets you send person-to-person payments with a smartphone. And, better yet, sending personal payments is completely free.

Those of you who are savvy in the electronic payment arena are probably wondering how Clover differs from PayPal. From what I've seen, they're pretty much the same, though I've had some issues getting the free person-to-person payments to work with correctly through PayPal lately. So why bother downloading Clover?

Clover is in the process of shamelessly building it's customer base by giving new users $5 for signing up! Anyone who downloads the app gets a free $5 Amazon gift card. If you upgrade to a Gold membership (which is still free, but you have to link a bank account to your Clover account), you can get $5 cash instead. When you sign up, you also receive 17 referrals that you can send to other people, and you receive $5 for each person who signs up.

For less then five minutes of work, you can earn $5...and much, much more if you're lucky enough to have friends. There are a few ways to get the app--you can click on this link and go to the website, or you can scan the barcode below with a smartphone.

Five dollars for a few minutes of work...not bad at all.  And let's face it, there are much, much slower and more painful ways to make $5...like writing an unsuccessful blog, for example...
